Looking Better with Age

Posted by blueheronbobcat on March 28, 2010

The annual antique boat festival was held this past weekend in Tavares, Florida.  It was very interesting, but once again I found myself more intrigued with the antique automobiles than with the antique boats.  With all the modern cars available these days it seems that I never get tired of looking at these antique beauties.  True wooden doors, beautiful paint jobs, smooth curves, what more could you ask for….except maybe air conditioning here in Florida.

I saw the gentleman, in the photo below, looking at the inside of the car.  I liked the blend of his shirt and shorts with the color of the car and the surrounding landscape.  He started to walk away and I asked if he would come back and let me photograph him.  He obliged, and I think the photo turned out nice.

  1. These classic cars are beautiful and well done photo processing! I really, really like the 1941 Plymouth and 1947 Nash Suburban.

I really love the way you hdr these cars. I’ve tried this myself and sometimes it has worked for me but not as fantastic as these are. You could make sets of these on cards, like baseball cards. I bet they would be a hit.
